References in this Privacy Policy to “we”, “us” and “our” means Luminate Financial Group Limited, acting through a Financial Adviser.

- Providing services to you (for example, recommending Products)
- Sending communications and direct marketing about products and services we think may interest you (by mail, phone, email, SMS or MMS)
- Conducting market research
- Any other purpose authorised by you or the Privacy Act
If you do not wish to receive marketing information, you may opt out at any time by notifying us.
We may also collect personal information, including credit information and health information, on behalf of lenders, insurers and other Product Providers you choose to apply with. Product Providers will have their own Privacy Policy that applies to information we collect on their behalf.

- Luminate Financial Group Limited (LFGL) and its related bodies corporate

- Product Providers (including during the term of any loan arranged on your behalf)

Product Providers may periodically disclose your loan balance to us in connection with the payment of ongoing commission over the term of your loan.

8. Who do we disclose your personal information to?
We may disclose your personal information where necessary for the purposes described above to:
- LFGL and its related bodies corporate
- Product Providers and prospective lenders
- Mortgage insurers
- Any person providing a guarantee or security
- Trustees, assignees or potential assignees
- Referral partners
- Contractors or service providers
- Investors or entities with an interest in our business
- Regulators and government agencies
- Auditors (including LFGL)
- Employers, referees, credit reporting and identity verification agencies
- Any other person authorised by you or the Privacy Act
Credit reporting agencies may hold your credit information, including default information, on their systems and use it to provide credit reporting services to their customers.
Before disclosing your personal information to another organisation, we will take reasonable steps to ensure they are committed to protecting your information to a standard at least equal to ours.
9. Do we disclose your personal information outside New Zealand?
We may use cloud storage to store personal information. The cloud storage or IT servers may be located outside New Zealand.
We may also disclose personal information to LFGL, related bodies corporate and overseas third party suppliers or service providers for the purposes outlined above.
